About Palette

How it works

The image is drawn to a small off-screen canvas, then pixels are grouped into color buckets. The most common buckets become your palette, with each swatch shown as a copyable HEX code.

Privacy by design

Because everything runs on a local <canvas>, your photo never leaves your device — unlike many palette sites that upload your file to a server.

Using your palette

Click any swatch to copy its HEX. Pair the extractor with the Color Converter to get RGB/HSL versions of each color.
