Random Picker is a free, private online tool that lets you shuffle a list or pick random items from it — for raffles, teams and decisions. It runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded to a server.

Pick random items (without repeats) for a winner or sample, or shuffle the whole list into a random order.
Selection uses a Fisher-Yates shuffle, so every item has an equal chance.
Giveaway winners, randomising teams, assigning tasks, and breaking ties.
A random picker and list shuffler takes any list you paste - one item per line - and either picks random items from it or shuffles the whole list into a random order. It is the digital equivalent of drawing names from a hat, but fair, instant and repeatable at any size.
Both modes use an unbiased Fisher-Yates shuffle driven by random numbers, which guarantees every item has an equal chance of any position. Picking n items simply takes the first n of a fair shuffle, so each selection is genuinely random and, when picking several, without repeats.
People are surprisingly bad at being random - we favour certain names, avoid recent winners, or unconsciously bias picks. An impartial tool removes any suspicion of favouritism, which matters for giveaways, raffles and prize draws where fairness must be visible, and for decisions where you want to avoid bias.
Pick a giveaway or competition winner, draw names for Secret Santa, assign people to teams or groups, choose who goes first, select a random sample, decide what to cook or watch, or randomise the order of presenters. Shuffling is also handy for creating randomised question or playlist orders.
Paste your list with one item per line, then either set how many to pick and click Pick random, or shuffle the entire list. Copy the result with one click. Everything runs in your browser, so even private lists of names stay on your device.
